Our vineyard lies close to the shore of Lake Geneva. The estate covers 9 hectares, 3.5 of them newly added.
Since 2019 we have worked without herbicides, and in 2022 the estate was awarded the Bio Suisse Bud – synthetic fungicides and herbicides are now completely excluded.
To bring the soil to life and reduce disease pressure, we spray teas and decoctions of plants such as horsetail, meadowsweet, comfrey and nettle.
This lets us reduce our use of copper and encourages the soil life needed for a healthy microbiome.
In the end we have as much diversity to discover as there are personalities – that's really exciting!
